The smartphone mounting system

We all get tired of holding our smart phones, while we are watching a movie, typing, or playing a game. Hell even when we are on a call. Well a new Kickstarter project called iSLIC hopes to solve this problem.

The iSLIC is a smart phones mounting system, originally designed for the iPhone by a small group out of Texas, calling themselves the Moreno Team. Originally they designed this little mount for themselves, but have redesigned and adapted it for most smart phones, and want to make it available to all smart phones users.

Currently iSLICK has had $1,135 of it’s $10,000 goal pledged, and they have 27 days until their funding round on Kickstarter ends. Personally I think this is a great idea, and hope that this project is successful.

The one down side I see to funding this project are the backing levels, which compared to other Kickstater projects their backer level & rewards are set fairly high. Requiring a minimum $45 pledge to receive your own iSLIC, which they say will be sold for $60.
